What’s Your Learning Design Style? – Discover and Play to Your Strengths

As L&D practitioners, our roles cover everything from strategy and research to delivery and evaluation – but let’s be honest, some parts light us up, while others drain our energy. This session introduces the GC Index – a powerful tool that shows how you naturally prefer to contribute and make an impact. It’s not about skills or personality, but about recognising where your energy lies, so you can design learning in a way that plays to your strengths (and find smart ways to manage the bits you find tougher).

In this session you’ll:
Identify which of the five GC Index proclivities best reflect your approach to learning design.
See how different styles show up in each stage of the Training Cycle.
Consider practical strategies to make your role more enjoyable and effective.

You’ll also see how understanding these proclivities helps L&D to have more impact on the business, develop individuals and build high performing teams. Whether you’re self-employed or part of an in-house team, you’ll leave with valuable insights about your own working style – and how to harness that to maximise your success.
