Monday 24th November
1.00-2.30pm

Our role is all about developing PEOPLE - unique, messy, unpredictable, surprising, and imaginative beings with feelings, emotions, preferences and lives outside work. In a world where AI and automation are becoming everyday tools, it’s easy to forget that every human is unique, and a 'one-size-fits-all' tech-driven solution might not actually deliver the most useful learning experience.
In this Lunch n Learn, we will explore how the human-only skills of curiosity, empathy, and creativity remain at the heart of great training design — and how applying our human skills to classic design thinking principles can help to create learning experiences that resonate with our fellow humans.
Together, we’ll look at how to take a 'human-first' approach to training design and choose right tools and approaches for the right tasks, to create a solution that engages the heart as well as the head.
By the end of the session, you will be able to:
💡Use design thinking principles to guide human-centred training design decisions.
💡Recognise when to lean on human intelligence and when to harness AI or technology.
💡Apply human insight to create learning that is relevant, authentic, and impactful.
