Friday 11th September
1.00-2.30pm

As trainers and learning designers, we spend a great deal of time thinking about engagement. We vary our activities, encourage discussion, add visuals and look for ways to make learning memorable.
But what if some of our best practice is still unintentionally excluding people?
Around 15 to 20% of people are neurodivergent, yet many learning experiences are still designed around the assumption that everyone processes information in the same way. The good news is that creating more neuroinclusive learning doesn’t mean starting again. Often, it’s about making a few thoughtful design choices that improve the experience for everyone.
In this practical Lunch n Learn, Sascha Evans, founder of We The Creators, will introduce a simple framework for reviewing your own training through a neuroinclusive lens. This isn’t a theoretical discussion. It’s a practical session where you’ll work with one of your own workshops and leave with ideas you can immediately apply.
What we’ll cover:
💡 Why neuroinclusion is a design principle, not simply a reasonable adjustment
💡 A simple framework for reviewing any workshop or learning session
💡 Practical ways to make your training more accessible without creating extra work
💡 Why designing for different ways of processing information benefits everyone
💡 Small changes you can make to your next workshop that could have a significant impact
You’ll be invited to review your own practice during the session so you can leave with practical improvements you can put into practice straight away.
