Whether you run your own business or work in a larger one, understanding finances is a crucial requirement in making commercially savvy decisions (AND speaking the language of the business)
In this session, Tara Askham will help us to understand and begin to interpret a profit and loss account and balance sheet.
She’ll break down some of the financial terminology you’ll hear (but maybe not QUITE understand) so that you can:
Be more commercial in your conversations, and - make better financial decisions for your training business
Spend less time bugging your accountant (or Finance Director) about basic things
As we only have 90 minutes, we’ll be working on simple accounts - those typical of a small business - and we won’t be going into tax.
It’s going to be an enlightening session!
